In the debate of mug vs. bowl MUG WINS. First of all, portability. Unless the handle is broken which is both dangerous and annoying. Secondly, less chance for spilling especially when you are mixing two (or more!) cereals together. Third, you could drink the left-over milk (see "what to do with the extra milk" to be written soon) easily and without spilling (see "secondly").
Case closed. EXCEPT.........
In the right hand bottom corner there is the most convincing argument for bowls yet. It throws the whole thing off. Unless you wanted to eat from the glass but that doesnt seem civilized.
So, readers, what do you think of that? Mug? or HSM cereal bowl?

The HSM bowl allows more "spoon room" for breaking free. I would say that licensed character bowls always trump mugs, unless it is a licensed character mug.
